Lives and works in Venice (IT). Following a degree in Political Science, University of Padua, Andrea Morucchio began his photographic career in the mid 90's, producing an important body of work in Cuba and Nepal. Since the end of the 90's, he has expanded his linguistic research – often based on considerations of a socio-political nature – in various directions, from sculpture to installation, from video to photography and performance.

At the VENICE INTERNATIONAL PERFORMANCE ART WEEK 2012, Morucchio presents the video performance and installation Rivoluzioni (2011).
